How many people do you know who've tried to start a home based business?

It might be selling a product they make themselves or a home business like many people have, marketing products for other companies through MLM.

How many of them are successful?

Have you ever approached friends or family and tried to sell them something? I know I have and it wasn't much fun. It doesn't take too long before they're avoiding you all together.

Most companies are great with all kinds of motivational tapes and pep rallys that get you all worked up about starting a home business and have you buying products you don't need. They tell you go and share with your friends and family and your home business will grow by itself.

Well, I know for a fact that doesn't work. I've tried it and I've seen members of my family and friends fall for the MLM dream and fail miserably. Many of these companies have great products that should be easy to market but it's usually the home business opportunity that we're told to push.

Some of the uplines are definitely making money though. They're just not sharing all the information with you. They're not telling you the whole story about THEIR marketing plans. They can make too much money from you, selling qualified leads at unheard of prices. And more useless marketing material to hand out to everyone you come in contact with.

All Successful Small Home Businesses and Marketers Have a Website

If you're starting any kind of home business, especially ones such as MLM or affiliate marketing, you absolutely need a website. And not a replicated website like those handed out to every single affiliate. All the most successful marketers have several websites of their own. And they all have powerful sales messages they get in front of thousands if not millions of interested people.

They're NOT chasing warm markets or making cold calls. They use the power of the Internet to attract interested people to them because they know it's much easier to convert someone who comes to you, rather than someone you're chasing after.

They spend their time on people who are already looking for what they're offering. Not like the cheap leads that you can buy for a buck a piece from lead companies on the web. These are hot to trot, pre-qualified leads ready to sign.

The way they do this is by having finely tuned marketing messages designed to take you each step of the way through signup, without you really even knowing what happened. Where this fails is that the new recruit can't duplicate this process and most of them drop out of the program after putting their heart and soul into their home business. Many times these people are very hard working people but the system is unworkable and lets them down.

What people need is a system that attracts like minded people willing to start their own home business and be willing to learn how to teach those they attract. And that leads me to how I can help you take your home business or MLM business online and BE SUCCESSFUL.

A Successful Online Home Business Needs a Strong Support Team

In December of 2000, just before Christmas, Dr. Ken Evoy of SiteSell.com introduced a web business building program called Site Build It!. I was fortunate to be one of the very first to buy a copy of the program within minutes of receiving the introductory email. I'd been waiting months to get it after hearing about all the wonderful things it would bring to those wanting to start a small home business online.

Since that time I've gained a tremendous education just by being a part of the SBI! community and watching this program evolve. In fact I'd compare it to a masters degree in business marketing. Only the way I learned from SBI! was hands on and by being a pioneer in trying new techniques and ideas. In a classroom setting, by the time anything to do with Internet Marketing is introduced, it's outdated.

Today SBI! is unmatched by anything else in the world. In fact there isn't anything even close to compare. One of the first things I learned in a home business course I once took was that there is always competition and you must always be aware of it. Well, SBI! has to be the exception to the rule. There is nothing like it and today there are thousands of happy people just like me who found success online for their home business using this program.

SBI! sales are affiliate driven. That means the company doesn't advertise and all sales are made through satisfied customers like me who've used the product for many years. Well, that's not quite true. Anyone can become an affiliate and promote SiteSell products, it's just easier when you own and use them yourself.

The forums are populated by people from all over the world who are using SBI! to help build their home business online. There are ordinary people like you and me and also thousands of very intelligent people with savvy business minds. Do you think YOU could benefit from this volume of knowledge? I use it everyday.

In fact, in January 2005, I was invited to be a moderator in these forums to help keep them functioning in an efficient manner. To be honest, I probably haven't been as helpful in there as I could be. But it is volunteer work and I do have a pretty busy life right now. Because the community is so helpful as a whole, the odd moderator can take a break once in awhile and they do.

One thing I've noticed is that many new SBI! customers need some type of coaching to help get over the hump. Someone to help by pointing them in the right direction and offering encouragement and guidance while they start their home business. Many times people are a little afraid to take the next step in building their business and even a little reassurance from someone who's been there can make a big difference in giving them the confidence to make the step.

One last thing. You may never even want to market SBI! products. You don't have to. I've just started offering this since February 2008. I went through a ten year education about using the Internet, marketing small home businesses.
